Welcome to the July Newsletter, slightly later than we had intended but alas here it is. The theme for this month as promised is Fertility and Pre-Conception care after recently attending the Natural Health Congress in Melbourne. It was a fantastic event and with some brilliant and inspiring minds presenting. Although the theme was Fertility and Conception health, we were also introduced to Doctors that work in the field of Autism and the spectrum of disorders related to this. Very informative, interesting and inspiring as Natural Therapies has a lot to offer these people and their families.
Welcome to the mid-year newsletter, yes, it is June already and the first official day of winter is here. The theme for this month’s newsletter is immunity, being that winter is unfortunately the time of the year that many of the cold and flu virus’ present. If you want to stay well through this time you need to be proactive with your healthcare and your foods. Read further on for some great tips from the team on keeping well during winter.
Welcome to the May Newsletter and also to the new premises for Discover Health. For many clients our shift may have come as a surprise, but essentially we were offered an opportunity that we could not refuse. The new premises although smaller, essentially offer us 5 consulting rooms & enough space to hold our educational seminars onsite. It has not taken us long to settle in and feel at home, bringing with us Bruce Harper (Osteopath) and Antoinette van Zyl (Hypnotherapist). The location is very central to all motorway accesses and there is parking available on many of the side streets around us as well as Gt South Road itself. Please note that the entrance to our practice is actually on the side of the building, off Ngaire Street. We are working on getting the final signage for our door entrance making us a lot more visible, but as I’m sure you can all appreciate these things take time.
We are already into the 3rd month of the year and at Discover we really have hit the ground running. With some Biggest Loser competitions well on their way in the corporate sector and our own Reshapers Programme in full swing, it is great to see people so committed to their health and fitness goals for 2011. If you are interested in taking part in this enthusiasm, pick up the phone, as we have another Reshapers kicking off soon and we are also more than happy to help corporates organise their own Biggest Loser Competition.

It seems as though the holidays are but a distant memory, but this does remind us all of how quickly time seems to go by and that if we don’t act, opportunities and goals for the year may well be missed or overlooked.
