August Newsletter
Monday, 02 August 2010
Winter Greetings,

As I look around my community there is so much sickness, both in those people that I would normally consider to be very healthy and whom look after themselves with sound nutrition, with sufficient exercise and correct levels of rest.  Why then I ask is this happening.  Flu vaccinations,  stronger virus replication, poorer levels  of quality nutrients in our food, increased stress levels, more work and less play, reduced sun hours??? Well, most definitely all of those are linked in some way, to our ability to resist and recover from the dreaded winter viruses.

July 2010 Newsletter
Tuesday, 11 May 2010
 Hello everyone

We have come to the midway point of the year as the days go racing by.  It is nice to see some rain and I’m sure the ducks are in bliss mode.  Ask me how I feel about the rain at the end of August, as my fondness for it may well have worn thin by then.  Already in the practice we have seen many people with the common winter illnesses so with the change in temperatures, more dampness, and the wind that is so typical of this season, we need to take extra care in protecting ourselves from these viruses and bacterium.  We have put together an immune pack that you can purchase onsite for any acute situation that may arise, it can also be used for maintenance and prevention of sickness throughout winter.

It is time to don the running shoes and up the ante on the exercise front.

March Newsletter 2010
Monday, 01 March 2010
Welcome everyone to the first newsletter for 2010. It’s March already, and I hear you all wondering where did the first two months go? Like everyone this has been a busy start to 2010 for us at Discover and we are planning for an eventful and exciting year ahead. After the New Year landed, as we do every year, planning was commenced and the theme for us as a practice for 2010 is Intention and Awareness. Instead of setting resolutions we believe it is more beneficial to select a theme for the year and allow this to be your focus for growth and ongoing improvement, be it on a personal or professional level. This can then be brought into all aspects of what we do, whether it is food, exercise, meditation or purely how we function in our careers. What is your theme for 2010?

December Newsletter 09

Welcome note

Season’s Greetings to everyone,

Welcome to the last issue of Discover Healths newsletter for 2009,

I can hardly believe that it is only 23 sleeps till the big jolly man comes sliding down my chimney. This year for some reason seems to have gone much faster than any previous one that I can remember; perhaps it is because it has been such a busy year, shifting the premises and the inclusion of our new vision into the practice.
