We have come to the midway point of the year as the days go racing by. It is nice to see some rain and I’m sure the ducks are in bliss mode. Ask me how I feel about the rain at the end of August, as my fondness for it may well have worn thin by then. Already in the practice we have seen many people with the common winter illnesses so with the change in temperatures, more dampness, and the wind that is so typical of this season, we need to take extra care in protecting ourselves from these viruses and bacterium. We have put together an immune pack that you can purchase onsite for any acute situation that may arise, it can also be used for maintenance and prevention of sickness throughout winter.
With Easter now behind us and the autumn months ahead I am pleased to say that the change will be a welcome one. For many of us the less chocolate and hot cross buns we have to lay our eyes on the better; it’s a family ritual that brings some very fond childhood memories, but alas the effects on the waistline are not so fondly enjoyed. It is time to don the running shoes and up the ante on the exercise front.
Welcome everyone to the first newsletter for 2010. It’s March already, and I hear you all wondering where did the first two months go? Like everyone this has been a busy start to 2010 for us at Discover and we are planning for an eventful and exciting year ahead. After the New Year landed, as we do every year, planning was commenced and the theme for us as a practice for 2010 is Intention and Awareness. Instead of setting resolutions we believe it is more beneficial to select a theme for the year and allow this to be your focus for growth and ongoing improvement, be it on a personal or professional level. This can then be brought into all aspects of what we do, whether it is food, exercise, meditation or purely how we function in our careers. What is your theme for 2010?
Welcome to the last issue of Discover Healths newsletter for 2009,
I can hardly believe that it is only 23 sleeps till the big jolly man comes sliding down my chimney. This year for some reason seems to have gone much faster than any previous one that I can remember; perhaps it is because it has been such a busy year, shifting the premises and the inclusion of our new vision into the practice.
